HutchCC strongly discourages smoking and the use of tobacco products.

Smoking, vaping, or the use of any tobacco product is prohibited in all HutchCC owned or leased buildings or properties, except in designated outdoor areas. This applies to employees, students, vendors, and guests.

Disciplinary action may ensue for violations of this policy.

Designated usage areas on campus:

• Davis Hall and Peel Center – Northeast corner of the Peel Center
• Fire Science – Northeast corner of the building next to the trash receptacle fence
• HutchCC Housing – Cement slab east of basketball court in the courtyard
• Lockman Hall, Rimmer Learning Resource Center, and Smith Science Center – South side of Waldo Auditorium or North of Rimmer Learning Resource Center
• McPherson Center – Bench on the northeast side of the building
• Media Production – North side of the building
• Newton Center – South side of the building and the eastern part of the parking lot
• Parker Student Union – East side of Cafeteria loading dock
• Shears Technology Center, Ade-Wifco, and Berger Industrial Technology Center – Northwest corner of Industrial Technology Center Building
• Stringer Fine Arts Center – Southwest of building
